The Raise The Colours Scam is now playing out in public. The bitter public fallout involves serious accusations of financial misconduct between the founders of Raise the Colours (RTC) and Danny “Tommo” Thomas.
Founders Ryan Bridge and Elliott Stanley released a lengthy statement in January 2026, accusing Thomas of using the movement for personal gain:
Thomas hit back in a video on X (formerly Twitter), calling Bridge and Stanley “liars on every level” and making his own claims about the project’s finances:
Thomas alleged that Raise the Colours has taken in “a quarter of a million pounds, and maybe more” in public donations while delivering very little actual work beyond online videos.
The dispute has essentially split the movement. While one side (Bridge/Stanley) frames Thomas as a “freeloader” and a thief, the other side (Thomas) frames the founders as “scammers” who are sitting on a massive pot of donation money without being transparent about where it is going.
Both parties have now publicly admitted that large sums of untracked money are flowing through personal accounts rather than a registered organization.
