What the Epstein files reveal about Nigel Farage

Whereas it’s true that Nigel Farage is mentioned in the Epstein files, these are not records of a personal association between Farage and Epstein.

However, the files do confirm Farage’s association with Steve Bannon, and this is not just an association to exchange viewpoints or record of a simple advisory role. The association between Bannon and Farage amounts to foreign interference in UK politics on an industrial scale.

Steve Bannon is widely considered the intellectual architect and most influential strategist of the MAGA movement. The relationship between Bannon and Farage involves both long-term strategic collaboration and indirect logistical and financial support as well as being his ideological mentor famously referring to him as “the face” of his populist efforts in Europe. Farage provides a “transatlantic bridge” for Bannon’s populist ideologies and “dark money” structures.

Bannon funnels money to Farage through his immediate network and associates.

In 2024 and 2025, it was revealed that Farage received extensive, unpaid assistance from CapitalHQ, a US-based PR firm led by Alexandra Preate, Bannon’s former long-time press spokesperson.

Filings under the US Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) showed the firm provided “perception management,” organized media appearances, and managed travel for Farage on more than 100 days in 2024.

The firm also settled a $3,531 hotel bill for Farage during the Republican National Convention.

So whereas others may be “on the hook” for serious sexual offences because of what is revealed in the Epstein files, Farage can’t escape criticism for being an enabler of Bannon’s mission to undermine UK and European democracy.
